ກອງປະຊຸມໃຫຍ່ຄັ້ງທີ 1 ຂອງໂຄງການ REAL
ໂຄງການ REAL: ການປະຕິຮູບການສຶກສາຊັ້ນສູງໃນລາວ: ການສ້າງຕັ້ງວັດທະນະທໍາຂອງການຮັບປະກັນຄຸນນະພາບພາຍໃນຮອບດ້ານທີ່ຈໍາເປັນສໍາລັບການຈັດຕັ້ງປະຕິບັດການຮຽນ-ການສອນທີ່ເນັ້ນໃສ່ຜົນໄດ້ຮັບຂອງຜູ້ຮຽນເປັນຫຼັກ. ໂຄງການດັ່ງກ່າວໄດ້ຮັບທຶນສະໜັບສະໜຸນຈາກ ສະຫະພາບເອີລົບ ພາຍໃຕ້ຂອບໂຄງການ Erasmus+CBHE.

ໃນກອງປະຊຸມດັ່ງກ່າວ, ຜູ້ເຂົ້າຮ່ວມໄດ້ສົນທະນາ, ເເລກປ່ຽນ ເເລະ ຮຽນຮູ້ກ່ຽວກັບບັນດາໜ້າວຽກຕ່າງໆ ເເລະ ເຮັດກິດຈະກໍາຕ່າງໆ ຂອງໂຄງການ ເຊິ່ງປະກອບມີຄືດັ່ງລຸ່ມນີ້:
ໜ້າວຽກທີ 1: ຮັບປະກັນຄວາມສອດຄ່ອງຂອງການສຶກສາຊັ້ນສູງ
- ຄະນະຄູ-ອາຈານທີ່ຮັັບຜິດຊອບໃນເເຕ່ລະຫຼັກສູດໄດ້ວາງແຜນ, ປຶກສາຫາລື ເເລະ ກໍານົດບັນດາຄວາມຮູ້ ເເລະ ທັກສະທີ່ສໍາຄັນໃນຫຼັກສູດທີ່ຕະຫຼາດເເຮງງານ ຫຼື ສັງຄົມລາວຕ້ອງການຈາກນັກສຶກສາທີ່ຮຽນຈົບ.

ນອກຈາກນີ້ເເລ້ວ, ກໍໄດ້ມີກອງປະຊຸມພົບປະກັບບັນດາຜູ້ປະກອບການ ເເລະ ບໍລິສັດຕ່າງໆຈາກພາກເອກະຊົນເພື່ອຮັບຟັງ ເເລະ ເເລກປ່ຽນຄໍາຄິດເຫັນກ່ຽວກັບສິ່ງທີ່ພວກເຂົາຕ້ອງການຈາກນັກສຶກສາທີ່ຮຽນຈົບຈາກມະຫາວິທະຍາ ໄລຢູ່ລາວ ເຊັ່ນ: ດ້ານຄວາມຮູ້ ເເລະ ທັກສະຕ່າງໆທີ່ຈໍາເປັນເພື່ອມາດັດປັບຫຼັກສູດໃຫ້ສອດຄ່ອງກັບຄວາມຕ້ອງການຂອງຕະຫຼາດເເຮງງານ.

REAL Project - General Meeting 1 (GM1)
REAL: Reforming higher education in Laos: installing the culture of comprehensive internal quality assurance necessary for implementing outcomes-based approach. Duration: 48 Months, 1 February 2025 - 31 January 2029. The project co-funded by the European Union under Erasmus+ CBHE.
The project’s aim is to promote the structural reform for the effective implementation of the outcomes-based approach, creating strategies, mechanisms and resources essential to modernize the Lao Higher Education System.
Project partners include: Ministry of Education and Sports, National University of Laos, Souphanouvong University, Savannakhet University, Champasack University, University of Groningen, the Netherlands, Asociación de Educadores y Expertos Tuning, Spain, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Spain, Université de Poitiers, France.
Champasack University proudly participated in the first REAL Project General Meeting, held from March 31 to April 2, 2025, at the National University of Laos, Dong Dok Campus, Vientiane Capital. The university delegation was led by Dr. Phonesavanh Thepphasoulithone, President of Champasack University, accompanied by Mrs. Nongkan Phanthanalay, Deputy Director of Planning and International Cooperation (contact person), a dissemination team member, a quality assurance officer, and 12 REAL Programme Team (RPT) members representing the programmes of English, Food Technology, Livestock, and Veterinary Medicine.
During the meeting, participants engaged in meaningful discussions and exchanges focused on the project's key tasks and activities across three core work lines:
Line 1: Ensuring Relevance of Higher Education Studies
- RPT members collaboratively discussed and identified the key competencies and skills required by the Lao labour market and society.
- They reached an agreement on essential curriculum elements, defined target groups, and developed plans for data collection using appropriate tools. The identified respondents include current students, recent graduates, faculty, employers, and companies.
Planned Next Steps:
- Finalize the design of data collection tools.
- Conduct data collection in May–June 2025.
- Analyze the collected data in July 2025.
- Prepare and submit a comprehensive report by August 2025.
Line 2: Ensuring the Feasibility of Higher Education Programmes
- RPT members deepened their understanding of learning outcomes at the course and program levels, and how these relate to internal quality assurance and outcome-based education.
- They explored best practices, common mistakes, and techniques for writing effective learning outcomes, including practices of self- and peer-assessment.
- Practical sessions were held where members drafted and presented learning outcomes in the meeting.
Planned Next Steps:
- RPT members from Food Technology, Livestock, and Veterinary Medicine will review and refine learning outcomes for use in upcoming teaching experiments.
- The English group will develop a PowerPoint presentation to explain the role and importance of learning outcomes in implementing outcome-based education, with an emphasis on aligning these outcomes with internal quality assurance practices.
Line 3: Ensuring Effectiveness of Teaching
- RPT members explored evidence-based research and theories on student motivation, particularly strategies to foster resilience and engagement after failure. This included understanding intrinsic and extrinsic motivation.
- They also learned and practiced new teaching techniques aimed at improving student learning experiences.
Planned Next Steps:
- RPT members will disseminate insights and knowledge from the meeting to colleagues who could not attend.
- They will pilot selected teaching methods and theories with their students during May or June 2025.
In addition, a special session was held with representatives from the private sector, including employers and entrepreneurs. This dialogue provided valuable insights into the skills and competencies that Lao graduates need to succeed in the workforce, which will inform ongoing curriculum development to better align higher education with labour market demands.
